Who is Jesus : Did He Die” For the Sins of Mankind ?

TRINITY

Basic claim is that the Father, Son (Jesus) and Holy Ghost are equally one — and are all GOD

Therefore, Jesus IS God.

CRUCIFIXION

Christians believe that Jesus/God died on the cross for our sins. It is well known to all Major Religions that GOD can NOT die. (1 Tim.6:16)

If Jesus did ?die ? we see a clear contradiction of his supposed ?GODLY ? attribute of immortality, therefore, he can NEVER BE GOD !

Furthermore, what happened to the Trinity during the 3 days/nights — did it become a Dinity ?

To solve” this mystery, Christians have come up with two main arguments — both compounding the problem even further.

I want to add few thoughts about The Holy Trinity. It is a difficult term to comprehend as the word God.

I agree whole heartedly my dear friend !

In christianity what we are seeing is God is taking the ultimate responsibility of sin by sending his son to redeem the world.

We Muslims believe that what had Jesus, as any other prophets and messengers came before him, preached in his appointed term on the face of the earth was in essence what you do is what you get” theory. ie. No one is responsible for another one’s evil deeds. No one would get reward in the hereafter for another one’s good deeds. It is that simple. We Muslims also believe that God is capable of doing anything He wants to do. Even if He wanted to TAKE THE ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY OF SIN, He is CAPABLE OF DOING SO WITHOUT SENDING ANYBODY TO ANYWHERE not to mention this silly world we are living in. We Muslims believe that it is unnecessary to born as a car to understand the problems of a car. Likewise, it is ridiculous to even think about a god’ who needs to born in the womb of a woman to understand the problems of mankind.

I hope during the second coming of Jesus we(jews, muslims and christians) will bury our differences and unite in one God.

Why should we wait for the second coming of Jesus to (bury our differences and) unite in one God ? It is possible to do so now. Nobody could even hope to prolong his lifetime for a mere second. So is it a good idea to wait for an event that nobody know it’s exact time except God alone ?

II. SUN INCLUDE SUN, LIGHT AN HEAT. WHICH ONE YOU CAN ELIMINATE. THREE IN ONE

Sun doesn’t include sun. Sun is just another star which emits light and heat.

III. ISLAM INCLUDE ALLAH, QURAN AND PROPHET MUHAMMAD. WHICH ONE YOU CAN ELIMINATE STILL CALLED ISLAM

If you eliminate Quran, it is still called Islam. If you do eliminate prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him, it is still called Islam. Because Qur’an is just another divine revelation to one of the prophets of God — Muhammad (PBUH) — who is also last of the messengers from God. Jesus was a prophet and messenger from God who also got divine revelations from God and what he(Jesus) preached was Islam. Moses was a prophet who got divine revelations from God who preached Islam to his people. All of the prophets and messengers from God preached Islam to their respective people. Muhammad (PBUH) preached Islam to his people(that include our generation and the generations to come). Moreover, We Muslims are not supposed to show distinction between messengers of Allah. ie : Muhammad = Jesus = Moses = All other prophets from Allah.

ONLY THROUGH THE HOLY TRINITY THE LOVE NATURE OF THE GOD CAN BE EXPLAINED.

Here the problem lies. You said : GOD IS LOVE.” and now says : only through the holy trinity the love nature of the god can be explained.” is it a contradictory statement?!! As a Muslim I have no problem explaining the love nature of my Lord. Love is another attribute of God. He loves His slaves so much so that He is ready to forgive them even if they commit grave sins against Him.

    Dear readers,
I want to add few thoughts about The Holy Trinity. It is a difficult term to comprehend as the word God.It is a mystrey God reveled to mankind. It is not a human discovery. When we say God is
immortal, Almighty , Holy, spirit we can only imagine we can not comprehend intellectually because we are not like that.In christianity what we are seeing is God is taking the ultimate resposibility
of sin by sending his son to reedem the world.I hope during the second coming of Jesus we(jews, muslims and christians) will bury our differences and unite in one God.Now about Trinity three example I like to show
    I. A FAMILY INCLUDE FATHER, MOTHER ANDCHILD. IF YOU ELIMINATE ONE IT IS NO MOREFAMILY.THREE IN ONE. LOVE IS PERFECT IN TRINITY EVENTHOUTH LOVE IS POSSIBLE IN DUALITY.
II. SUN INCLUDE SUN, LIGHT AN HEAT. WHICH ONE YOU CAN ELIMINATE. THREE IN ONE
III. ISLAM INCLUDE ALLAH, QURAN AND PROPHET MUHAMMAD. WHICH ONE YOU CAN ELIMINATE STILL CALLED ISLAM
THESE ARE NOT PERFECT EXAMPLES TO COMPREHEND THE HOLY TRINITY. GOD IS LOVE. IF YOU ARE ALONE LOVE CAN NOT BE EXPLAINED.LOVE IS TO BE SHARED. ONLY THROUGH THE HOLY TRINITY THE LOVE NATURE OF THE GOD CAN BE EXPLAINED.

    Trinity
It is said in the First Epistle of John 5:7 – 8 : For there are three that bear record in heaven : the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one.

    Answer
That is in The King James Version, authorized in 1611, and formed the strongest evidence for the doctrine of the Trinity. But now this part, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost : and these three are one,” has been expunged in The Revised Standard Version of 1952 and 1971 and in many other Bibles, as it was a gloss that had encroached on the Greek text.

I John 5:7 – 8 in The New American Standard Bible says : And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness, the Spirit and the water, and the blood, and the three are in agreement.” Also, in The New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, used by the Jehovah’s Witnesses, you will find : For there are three witness bearers : the spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are in agreement.” I can understand if you don’t know that this important part has been removed, but I wonder why many ministers and preachers are not aware of this.

The Trinity is not biblical. The word Trinity” is not even in the Bible or Bible dictionaries. It was never taught or mentioned by Jesus. There is no basis or proof in the Bible for its acceptance.

The formulation of the Trinity by Athanasius, an Egyptian deacon from Alexandria, was accepted by the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD‹more than three centuries after Jesus had left. No doubt Roman paganism had an influence on this doctrine of a triune god. The Sabbath was shifted to Sunday and December 25, the birthday of their sun god Mithra, was introduced as Jesus’ birthday, although the Bible clearly predicted and forbade the decoration of Christmas trees in Jeremiah 10:2 – 5 : Thus saith the Lord : Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven ; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain : for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold, they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not : they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them ; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”

As Christianity deviated far from the original teachings of Jesus, Allah sent His last prophet, Muhammad, as a revivalist to undo changes made by man : the Roman Julian calendar was introduced as the Christian era ; Pork was allowed ; circumcision was abolished by Paul (Galatians 5:2 : Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.”

The Qur’an warns in Surah 5:73 : Surely they are disbelievers, those who said : Allah is one of the three in a Trinity.’ But there is none who has the right to be worshipped but one God (Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them. Do you still believe in the Trinity, which was never taught by Jesus ?

But Jesus is God according to John 14:9 : “… he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.” does it really means tht Jesus PBUH is God.?

Look at what comes before and after : (John 14:8): Philip saith unto him : Lord, show us the Father, and it aufficeth us.“ ‘ (John 14:9): Jesus saith unto him : Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip ? He that hath seen me hast seen the Father ; and how sayest thou then : Shew us the Father?“ ‘

Jesus asked Philip how to show God to the disciples, which is impossible. You should believe in God by admiring His creation : the sun, the moon, all creation, and Jesus, who was created by God. He said in John 4:24 : God is a Spirit” and in John 5:37 : Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.” How can you see a spirit ? What they saw was Jesus, not God. Paul said in I Timothy 6 : 16 : “… whom no man hath seen, nor can see.” So what you see is not God. The Qur’an says in Surah 5:103 : Vision comprehends Him not, but He comprehends (all) vision. He is the Subtle, the Aware.”

    * Is Holly Ghost part of trinity

    Answer

What is the Holy Spirit ?

The Holy Spirit is the Holy Ghost and is also God. Christians are taught that the Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Ghost is God. We are not allowed to say Three Gods, but One God.

    Matthew 1:18.

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was in this way : When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.”

    Compare this with Luke 1:26 – 27.

And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David ; and the virgin’s name was Mary.”

In Jesus’ miraculous birth Matthew mentioned the Holy Ghost and Luke mentioned the angel Gabriel. What is the Holy Ghost ?

    May Allaha guide you

Typical christian fundamentalists all you do is just wail upon JESUS SAID THIS JESUS SAID THAT… its pretty stupid that for thousands of years no Prophet ever spoke of such an insane notion of blood atonement only to have it all thought and understood’ by you christians. If its such an important doctrine where is it noted in your bible in black and white — All you bring forth are nothing but vain implications of what you claim to support your doctrine. It is you christians who are lost for you are the ones blind and go on to claim that God is humble.

Sun light and heat — what kind of meaningless gibberish is this. You mean to say that God is in parts then He cannot be an all Encompassing God for He is just a component — His claims of being One and Only one is all NONSENSE according to you. IN the light of the absurd analogy you have mentioned then Gods nature is not three it can be even more than three as a man can be a father a son a brother a nephew a husband etc etc.

You refute logical explanation but yet resolve to silly logics of your own to prove your polytheistic claims of three gods in one.

Jesus prayed and submitted to God — that doesn’t sound like an ALL powerful God.

Some resurrection story you only have pre crucifixion accounts and Post crucifixion accounts. And that too documented by people who had witnessed neither — remember the disciples forsook him and fled story.

Some merciful god you speak off who’s condemned all of an entire species of Hell for a mistake HIS creation MADE. A god who you claim can come in the form of a dog — so much for being High and Mighty.

You can rest assured be happy with that demonic possession you call a Holy Spirit for all its gotten you to do is absolve the Toraic Law which according to Jesus would not be changed till heaven and Earth Pass as well as inclusion of a pagan triune godhead in your religion.

    The Ultimate Test of Jesus
Taken from the Book : What Did Jesus Really Say” by Misha’al al-Khadi
Many verses of the Bible make reference to the three day and three night” prophesy (Matthew 20:19…etc.). We Muslims do not believe that Jesus (pbuh) himself said these words. Christian scholars themselves make mention of several cases throughout the Bible where people have put words in Jesus’ mouth (see chapter two). They also recognize many passages of the Bible as being of a questionable nature. However, let us simplify this matter a little in order to make it easier to recognize the tampering fingerprints of the unscrupulous. Let us start with the assumption that no human being ever added or removed a single word from the Bible and move on from there. Please try to stay with me on this and you will see how only a very small amount of logic will prove that Jesus (pbuh) never said these words :
You would be hard pressed to find a single Christian today who has not heard of the three days and three nights” prophesy. Where do they get it from ? They get it from the Gospel of Matthew.” What does it say ? If we read Matthew 12 we will see how the Jews were giving Jesus (pbuh) no end of trouble. They were constantly doubting him and making trouble for him. They had seen countless signs of his prophethood but insisted on disbelieving. Finally they ask him for a sign of his prophethood. How does Jesus (pbuh) allegedly respond to this request ? Does he draw their attention to his healing of the lepers and the blind ? No ! Does he draw their attention to his casting out of devils ? No ! Does he point out his raising of the dead ? No ! Does he mention any of his other countless miracles ? No ! Well, what does he say ? He says : But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign ; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas : For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly ; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth” Matthew 12:39 – 40. In effect, Jesus (pbuh) was claimed to have put all of his eggs in one basket. He was telling them that NO” sign shall be given to them BUT” the sign of Jonas. This ONE sign shall ALONE decide who is truthful, him or those who doubted him. This shall be the be all end all” acid test of his truthfulness.

Now, what is Good Friday”? Good Friday” is the day Christians tell us Jesus (pbuh) was crucified. In Merriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (tenth edition), it is defined as the Friday before Easter observed in churches as the anniversary of the crucifixion of Christ.” This is also confirmed by the Bible in Mark 15:42 : And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the Sabbath” So the Bible tells us that Jesus (pbuh) died on Friday, just before nightfall.

Are you still with us ? Have we made any of this up ? OK, let us continue. According to the Bible, the Jews had been carting Jesus (pbuh) back and forth on Good Friday” between Pontius Pilate and Harod trying to get a conviction and official sanction to crucify him. After all of this carting back and forth, they finally get him to the cross and hang him up on it. However, no sooner have they gotten him up on the cross than they are in a hurry to get him back down again. Why is that ? It is because if he remains on the cross all night then he will defile their land. Deuteronomy 21:22 – 23 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree : His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day ; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.” So the Jews begged Pilate to break Jesus’ legs so that he would die quickly from suffocation, John 19:31 : The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day, (for that Sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away..”

About the sixth hour (twelve noon), Jesus is claimed to be in front of Pilate (John 19:14). According to the Bible (e.g. John 19:30), Jesus died around the ninth hour (three PM). During these three hours Jesus was dressed in purple with a crown of thorns and made fun of, he was spat on, he was abused and beaten, he was made to carry the cross to a different location (John 19:17), the cross was planted in the ground, he was hung up on it, his title was written in Hebrew, Greek and Latin on the cross, lots were cast and his clothes distributed, he spoke to one of the two thieves and to an apostle, many people passed before him and rebuked him, he was given something to drink, and he died, all of which took place in these three hours, and his legs were never broken. After that there was thunder, an eclipse, and an earthquake, the veil of the temple was rent in twain, and the dead came out of their graves. Jesus (pbuh) was then let down and placed in the shroud and the tomb. Early Sunday morning (the first day of the week according to the Jews), while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene visits the tomb alone (Mark 16:9, John 20:1) and finds the stone moved and Jesus (pbuh) missing. Let us count together :

    Event Days Nights
    Good Friday’ — one
    Saturday (the Sabbath) one one
    Sunday Morning — -
    Total one day two nights

As you can see, it is impossible to add up the days and nights so that they equal three days and three nights.” Assuming that Jesus (pbuh) waited until just before the arrival of Mary to leave the tomb, the Bible tells us that Jesus (pbuh) was in the ground for ONE day and TWO nights. Has the prophesy been fulfilled ? Has the ONE be all end all” sign to the Jews been established ?

Further, it is important to remember that Jonah was swallowed alive by a whale and remained in its belly alive for three days. His miracle was not that the whale swallowed him, nor that it swallowed him whole, nor yet that he remained in it’s belly for three days (If I eat a piece of food and it remains in my stomach for three days, is this a miracle”?). The miracle of Jonah was that HE DID NOT DIE. For Jesus to have properly fulfilled the prophecy, he would need to enter the tomb alive and come out alive. Why should Jesus give this of all signs if he was to die and be resurrected ? Where is the miracle”? Where is the similarity with the miracle of Jonah ?

A Christian gentleman from Canada once asked us : Why do Muslims doubt that the scriptures always taught the death and resurrection of Jesus.” Can we now see why Muslims recognize such claims to be later insertions and not the words of Allah’s elect messenger Jesus (pbuh) nor his most honorable apostles ? Have we made anything up ? Have we not been quoting directly from the same Bible every Christian has at home ? For more, please read Mr. Ahmed Deedat’s book Crucifixion or Cruci-fiction.”

Indeed, Christian scholars are beginning to recognize that the text of Matthew 12:38 – 40 was in fact embroidered by the church in order to be able to claim that Jesus (pbuh) himself had prophesied the crucifixion. The original form of this verse can be seen in Mark 8:11 – 12, where we read : And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him. And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign ? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.” … and that is all. There is no mention of three days and three nights” or the sign of Jonah” or anything else. These were all added on later.

As a side note regarding the renting of the veil of the temple and resurrection of the dead, I would like to mention here that Mr. Tom Harpur says The story of the saints’ being resurrected from the tombs to the east of the city, just below the Mount of Olives, and going into Jerusalem is also the result of an attempt to give mythical form to the belief that Jesus was the first fruits of them that slept,” Surely an event of such stupendous dimensions, had it actually occurred, would have not only found its way into other Gospels (than Matthew) and letters in the New Testament, but would also have been recorded in some other Jewish or Roman historical source. Yet the record is silent.” From For Christ’s Sake’, page 102.

It is also interesting to note that while those who were not apostles (such as Luke) give detailed description of all of these most stupendous and earth-shaking events, in spite of that, the Gospel of John”, which was supposedly written by the apostle John the son of Zebedee, found it completely unnecessary to mention any renting of the veil of the temple”, or any rising of the dead”, or any earthquakes, or any eclipses of the sun, or any of these other most stupendous events. Did the apostle John feel all of these events to be inconsequential and undeserving of mention, or has the church been embroidering” the events of the crucifixion ? Did the apostle John not notice” the earth shaking beneath his feet, or the sun being blotted out above his head ? Did he not notice” the dead coming out of their graves ? It is interesting to further note that such mourning of all of creation” for the death of an important figure was not restricted to Jesus (pbuh). Only seventy years earlier, Julius Caesar’s death was documented to have been accompanied by similar stupendous acts of nature, as well as many members of the clergy after that. (Go back and read chapter three for more on this topic).

AbuMas’ud narrated in Sahih Al-Bukhari : The Prophet (pbuh) said, The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death of any among mankind, but they are two signs amongst the signs of Allah. When you see them stand up and pray.’ ”

The Holy Trinity is a very complicated thought for unbelievers to grasp. When my my children were young I explained the Trinity in a very simple way.

GOD is like the wind. We know he is there but we can not physically see the wind. We can see what the wind does, we feel the wind on our face, so we know it exists. But of course GOD is much more then just the wind.

Since we cannot truly know GOD as he is in his true self he came down to us in the form of a man through the Virgin birth. JESUS was all man and all GOD. At the crucifixtion his earthly body died but yet he was fully alive in his heavenly form. JESUS appeared in this heavenly body to the disciples and he was recognized by them. And remember though that JESUS was present at the begining of time.

The SPIRIT is a gift from GOD that is know only to believers. The SPIRIT is a peace, power, love, forgiveness, understanding, a human experience that really can’t put into words. Unbelievers can not even begin to feel the gift of the SPIRIT. So to truly know the Holy Trinity you must be a believer.

    THE TRINITY

Christians believe in the TRINITY GOD. Muslims might say that there is no TRINITY” word found in the bible. As a Christian, I agree. But, let’s look at John 4:14 – 21

Jesus said, If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans ; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him.”

From the verses above, we know that there is GOD, JESUS and the Spirit Of Truth (Holy Spirit). They are all in one. That’s why we Christians call it TRINITY GOD. But, if you still think it’s not logical, let’s look at one example, the SUN

We all know that the sun really exists, right ? But how significant is the sun in reflecting GOD’s image ? OK, now let’s see what’s the sun really like.

SUNLIGHTHEAT. These are the three things that we all know. There are three, but there are all in one.

Haven’t I solved the doubt you have about GODJESUSHOLY SPIRIT, the TRINITY GOD ?

    Did Jesus really die ?

    THE CRUCIFIXION
    Matthew 27:32 – 40

As they were going out, they met a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross. They came to a place called Golgotha (which means The Place of the Skull). There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall ; but after tasting it, he refused to drink it. When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

And sitting down, they kept watch over him there. Above his head they placed the written charge against him : THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS. Two robbers were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself ! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!”

YES!! JESUS DID DIE ON THE CROSS. BUT, THE QUESTION NOW IS, DID HE RISE UP ON THE THIRD DAY AS WHAT HE SAID EARLIER ?

    JESUS SAID HE WILL RISE
    MATTHEW 26:31 – 32

Then Jesus told them, This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written :
“ I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee.”

This verse clearly states that Jesus claim that He will rise from the dead.

    Let’s see Matthew 28:1 – 10

After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.

The angel said to the women, Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here ; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples : He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee ; there they will see me.”

These verses clearly states that Jesus was raised from the dead. Now, the question is back to the author of this site. CANMAN DIE AND RISE UP ON THE THIRD DAY?? HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ONE ? I’m sure if you seen one, you’ll be scared to death!!

So, there’s no point in arguing who Jesus is. He is what He claims to be. He is GOD. But, there’s always a doubt in most of us. HOW CANMAN BE GOD?? Impossible, right ? This is the same doubt that the Roman Empire had during the ministry of Jesus on earth. To them, it is a blasphemy for a man to claim himself to be GOD.

But, let’s ponder for a while.…. since GOD is so powerful and nothing is imposssible for HIM. So, let me ask you a question. Can GOD turn HIMSELF into man ? This is logically possible, right ? There’s nothing that GOD can’t do. Even if HE wants to turn HIMSELF into a dog, it is still possible. But why did HE choose to be a man ?

    Let’s see Genesis 1:26 – 28

Then God said, Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him ; male and female he created them.

God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful and increase in number ; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

See.… man is special. Man is created after the image of GOD. Man is GOD’s chosen creation. He loves human beings the most!! In order for GOD to be a man, it has to be logical. Otherwise it would be even more difficult for people to believe that Jesus is GOD in flesh. HE has to be born as a baby and grow up to be a man. HE can’t just come into existence as a 30 years old man.

But one might wonder why did he come to earth to die ? Sounds stupid right ? Let’s see Mark 2:13 – 17

Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them. As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector’s booth. Follow me,” Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.

While Jesus was having dinner at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners” were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the sinners” and tax collectors, they asked his disciples : Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners”?”

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

OK. Now we know that Jesus came to earth for the sinners. Let me rephrase : It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick”

So, in the event when the sick can’t find the doctor, the doctor has to find the sick. See, how generous and humble GOD is. HE came into the world in the form of flesh for sinners like us. In fact, GOD is most high. HE is high above us and yet HE humbled himself to become a man and became obedient unto death.

But why did HE choose to die in our place ? Simple.… have you ever had a friend who would sacrifice himself/herself for your wrong ? I bet you never had one. But you can have it, it’s free. That friend is called JESUS!! HE is your redeemer, your savior, your hope for eternal life.

    John 14:5 – 14

Thomas said to him, Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Philip said, Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered : Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time ? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me ? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me ; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

There is no other way to be with GOD when we die but Jesus. All you need to do is get a bible, read, study and learn it. One day, you’ll come to believe that Jesus is GOD. Having done that, you can say your prayer like this :

Dear Jesus, I am a sinner. I have tried to live my life without you. I now understand that you love me and died for me on the cross paying the penalty for my sins. I ask you to come into my life and forgive my sins. I believe in you as my Savior and Lord and I want to live for you and serve you. Thank you for your love for me and the gift of eternal life.
    Amen.”
