This is in reference to the stories of Sarah's seizure by Pharaoh and Abime'elech which was narrated in Genesis 12:10-18 and Genesis 20, Genesis 17:17 and Genesis 20:1-18. According to Ibn Hazm, Exodus 32:10-14 and 33:3-14 ascribes al-bada' (changing of mind) to God and hence this presents a problem to the nature of God and His characters with regard to His All-Knowing attribute. When one compares the above passages side by side, the internal contradictions between especially Exodus 32:10, 32:14 and 33:2-3 on the one hand and Exodus 33:14 on the other, clearly raises many problems of theological and moral concern from the Biblical context. In this case that was quoted above, in spite of God's determination to punish the Israelites for their idolatrous conduct, He did not execute punishment due to the intercession of Moses who had "reminded" God of His promise made with Abraham and the patriachs for their descendents. This Biblical passage seems to implicitly suggest that this "reminder" had made God realise his "wrong" decision and have Him repenting for it. Such an obvious "error" or even to imply such a thing is hardly befitting any person of integrity, let alone God, the Almighty.

To call someone a "pagan" or "idolater" was to label them as less Christian or less Jewish than the accusing faction. The same should be held true for the arguments in the Qur'an.

He had shown that his love for his Lord superseded all others, that he would lay down his own life or the lives of those dear to him in order to submit to God.

And his descent will be one of the great signs of Allah and one of the supreme portents of the Hour.

- [Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls](https://bismikaallahuma.org/christianity/jesus-and-the-dead-sea-scrolls/): Michael Baigent and Richard Leigh, authors of The Dead Sea Scrolls Deception, argue that a pacifistic Jesus was very unlikely. As the authors point out, Qumranian phrases flowed from his lips, sometimes word for word. Traditionally, scholars concede that at least some Zealots made up Jesus inner circle. The Bible itself reveals him acting in a Zealot-like way, driving the money changers out of the Temple. He states in the gospels: "I am come not to bring peace, but a sword". In the same vein, when a cohort of Roman soldiers comes for him in Gethsemane, Peter raises his sword against them, hardly the act of a meek Christian. As revealing is the number of soldiers in a Roman cohort, six hundred. Why send six hundred soldiers except in anticipation of armed resistance? And crucifixion, remember, was the method of execution for rebels, not rabbis. These biblical events, in conflict with Christian tradition, do not conflict with the Qumran context. On the contrary, they fit.

This is because the Qur'an has affirmed itself to be revealed in Arabic text, sent down to an Arab prophet, lest its audience uses the excuse that they will not be able to understand the Qur'an if were brought down in a foreign tongue.

The subject in question is najasa or impurity: what makes something impure according to Muhaqqiq al-Hilli, a 13th century Shi’ite scholar. The text says, "The water left over in the container after any type of animal has drunk from it is considered clean and pure apart from the left over of a dog, a pig, and a disbeliever." So, the Times reporter Sean O’Connell draws the conclusion that Muslim students are "being taught to despise unbelievers as filth", which becomes the news heading, sure to draw much publicity in UK before the election in May.

- [Is The Trinitarian Ontology Coherent?](https://bismikaallahuma.org/christianity/trinitarian-ontology-coherent/): Philosophical theism, in contemporary times, has been dominated by philosophers who are Christians. These theistic philosophers have published a great amount of literature defending the rationality of belief in God, and any participant in the great debate will surely be familiar with the names of intellectual giants like Alvin Plantinga, Richard Swinburne, William Lane Craig, among many others. Swinburne, for example, gives theistic belief, and in particular Christian belief, philosophical treatment in toto. I have noticed the following progression in his case for Christianity. First, he argues that the notion of 'God-talk' is perfectly coherent, and there are no a priori reasons to reject theistic belief. Next, he argues on cumulative grounds that natural theology renders the existence of God more probable than not. Finally, Swinburne articulates various arguments for Christian particularism, e.g. reasons to believe in the Christian Revelation, the Resurrection of Christ, etc. He therefore epitomizes the classic Lockean evidentialist, who is prepared to give rational reasons for all his beliefs.

Whereas another people are free to occupy land, subjugate native people, indiscriminate kill and expel those who do not share the same race, and engage in ethnic cleansing on the grounds of their distorted scriptures.
